My problem was that I needed to find someone to make repairs and when I called your office they had no suggestions and said I should Google masonry in Austin. Since this is something that probably occurs for others as well, I suggest you investigate people or companies to make these repairs so you can make recommendations.

I hired another painter recommended on my neighborhood (brentwood) message board who did a TERRIBLE job of half-scraping my house and then disappeared with half of my money. Doug and his crew came in and saved the day. Not only does the original wood siding on this 60 year old house look like new but before they started they raked my entire front and back yard! I pretty much asked him to "paint it gray -- make it look good" and the sleek three-color result still makes me smile every time I pull up my driveway. Thanks Doug!

Doug and his team of incredibly polite, professional, dependable and capable painters and handymen will make your house look better than you can imagine. We needed to get our house ready to put on the market, and what I appreciated most about Doug was that he walked around with me, listened, saw exactly what needed to be done (which included painting, sanding, fixing bits of wood, caulking, sealing, etc...), and then GOT IT DONE. No endless questions, endless repetition or price increases. He's just fabulous. Use him - your house will thank you.

Our house was dirty, had mildew, and in some areas the paint was peeling. We had taken bids from a number of painters and all of them, except Doug Gorton, agreed that our house needed to be repainted. We are on a budget and were not looking forward to spending the money to repaint our house, but thought it was necessary. When we talked with Doug, however, he suggested that what we really needed was the have the house hand washed, touch-up the areas that are peeling, caulk any areas necessary, and repaint some doors. As it turns out, he was right. The house looks beautiful again, but more importantly, we saved thousands of dollars. We were impressed that Doug really wanted to work with us to achieve our goals and save money. We will definitely call Doug first for any other painting needs we will have in the future and we'll highly recommend him to anyone. He is helpful, honest, and an ethical contractor.
